Nice post of the photos!  If one is so inclined, the Jimmy Stewart movie 
"Strategic Air Command" has a few, quick glances at the radio and FE 
positions, and a lot more.  Thei movie is, arguably, the best archive 
for the B-36 available.  I note in the radio position, the BC-348 
appears to be folded back and out of the way?  In the movie, it looked a 
bit different, perhaps the angle?  I'd hate to have to operate it in 
that position, were it permanent.....  Anyway, now that I've seen this 
photo, I'll go back to the movie and see if I can stop-action and see 
things better.
