To all who have commented:

Yes, I meant to say 1L6.  I'll re-check the tube and see what the TV-7 
reads and figure the actual (sic) number.  I think my TV-7 is still is 
good calibration.  I do appreciate all the information and will apply 
the advice prior to firing it up.  I think the previous owner(s) 
probably did just simply plug it in to see what would happen, but I have 
no clue.   I should have asked, but did not. Maybe we'll get lucky?
