[ARC5] Solid-state battery tubes...

Interesting conversation and apropos to a current find.

It seems I now have an older tube-type Zenith T/O.  Its all there, even 
all the small books that apparently come with it.  I have not fired it 
up yet but did test the tubes.  The 1L4 appears OK on my TV-7B.  That 
said, what is a "good" reading for this tube?  By that, I mean how good 
can good be for this tube type, trans-conductance wise?  I have no Idea 
what I'll do with this receiver but I assume I'll re-cap it and see if 
it gets off the ground.  This one has the 220v adaptor, and all. Not 
exactly and ARC-5, is it.......
