Hi:
When using a chirp receiver, like the RCS-5 or one of the DSP systems that work with a conventional SSB receiver it's
not uncommon to hear a signal that has gone around the world one or more times. Since it's possible to make precision
measurements of the chirp it can be shown that the time delay is consistent with a signal going around the world, but
the time is not always the same because the path may involve different layers.
