Actually, if you compare the length on CW of your call vs mine, you will find
there is no significant difference. Calculate it out in bauds and you will see.
One more "dah" in my call than yours. Three more "dit" lengths worth of
"dahs" in yours than in mine (24 vs 21). The number "1" in your call causes
the biggest problem.
Besides, I don't use AM. Never liked it.

Well, since "everybody" has a 2X1 or a 1X2 these days, most DX stations I
contact lately always miss the "E" in my call at first...which isn't surprising
given the way most people think now.
