[ARC5] Suppressor connection in ARC-5 receivers.

In at least one of the three sets of the RAX-1 receiver system,
an IF amp suppressor grid is biased at +12V, in fact it is biased
by the midpoint between two series connected filaments(24V primary
power).

The RAX sets all use about 170V for B+. I've seen it speculated
that the suppressor grid connection was to provide increased gain
to offset the low B+, but I'm not sure of this.
