[ARC5] crystal control

All interesting.
But I don't recommend attempting to crystal-control
a Command Set. "Gilding the lily...."
I use them regularly for contacts on both 75 and 40 meters.
If properly refurbished, used as-designed and warmed-up
for a few minutes, they are exceptionally stable.
If a transmitter wanders much, especially after key-down,
there's a problem. I had an ATA 40-meter TX
that wandered about a KC after key-down.
That was a mildly gassy (or maybe grid-emitting) 1625.
Replacement fixed it. Another on 80 meters had the
problem of oxidation of the pressed-on connection
strip on the PA padder cap stator. Soldering iron
fixed that one.
