But then there was the Arco Graphite lubricating oil for automobile
engines.  Black as black can be.  I used it in the 1977 Ford Grenada I
inherited from my father in 1981 to try to prevent the piston
scuffing/whatever those 6 cylinder engines were subject to.  I still have
two unopened and one partially empty (half empty or half full??) quarts out
in my garage.  In another 20 years they should become collector's items if
the plastic holds up...
