Which manual, Wayne?  Oh, I see the problem now - oil is specified for 
the dynamotor *hinge* assembly...(running and hiding)

More seriously, my TM 11-850 dated September 1946 (supersedes the 15 
March 1944 edition) specifies WB No. 2 grease for those bearings above 
0° F, and GL grease below 0° F, for both the DM-17 and DM-21. I wonder 
if the date on the manual represents a difference in philosophy?
