I would agree with everything you said here, John.

Another issue seems to be that most kids these days don't have the 
curiousity nor imagination we had. My own kids are this way, and neither 
their Mother nor I can figure it out. We TRIED to train them otherwise...

Both she and I are curious about almost everything.
