Well, I chose the worst one of the bunch I have to repair. It has been under water for some
time.

All appears to be OK now except that, obviously, one of the bearings got rusted.

This particular dynamotor has printed on it: "Do Not Pack Bearings! Remove covers and add
enough S-53 grease made by XXXXXXXXXXXX to just cover the bearing, then reinstall the
covers".

The bearings are pressed onto the shaft, but are a slip-fit in the cages.

One bearing is noisy the other one is quiet. I intend to yank both of them and replace them.

The dyno outputs over 300 VDC no load, although it is rated at 220 VDC at 80 mA. The
brushes and commutator look unused.
