As a matter of fact, there is at least one tube extender set available.
The set is nomenclatured the MX-1258/U (Navy item) and it contains nine
extenders for various tube bases, a tube pin straightener, and a small
manual. It includes the one you need. They were manufactured by Vector
(the tube socket people) and I'd be lost without mine, at times. They
also aren't behind every tree, but they are out there.
