Following WW 2, the Signal Corp published a three volume set of books
depicting the Corp's activities. They are titled:
"The Emergency"
"The Test"
"The Outcome"

One of the best places to find them is the ABE book sellers site. Prices
vary greatly between those sellers who know the value and those who
believe they are out dated low value technical. I acquired two of my
setof three there and paid less than $10 each. You may have to just
keep checking. I would use "Signal Corp World War II" in the ABE
search box and start from there. Right now there is a copy of "The
Emergency" on ABE for $5.00 plus $2.50 shipping.

Theyalso have a "Create a Want" feature and they will email you if a
book you want shows up.
