The Signal Corps in WWII three-volume set has a discussion of the use
of the BC-608 contactor with the SCR-522.  At least the 522-A has four
channels, one to be assigned for the Pipsqueak function.  The 274-N has
only two, and the BC-616 junction box is required.

That's the nice thing about all but the earliest RU/GF sets...it's a much
better design than the SCR-*-183 and -283, and none of the tubes are
venerated holy relics for audio-cultists.
