I have arraigned for a good dealer
friend to dispose of my estate.
  Told my wi fe:
"He will pay you less than you think
it's worth, and more than he should."

Just a comment about selling on eBay:

I have been selling antique model airplane engines for about 5 years.

We started by starting the listing a 50% of what the book said they were
worth. NO BIDS!

So we changed to a low ($9.99) starting price and a reserve at 50% of what
the book said they were worth. NO BIDS!

We were advised by another member of our club to start at the $9.95 price
and take what you can get. At first this gave me HEARTBURN!

But we learned that when dealing with collectors you will really get what
the item is worth. Quite a few of these engines sold for over $2K.

Many (most?) collectors think their items are worth much more that they can
be sold for. After you are gone your family will sell your stuff for
whatever they can get.
