Ive had a coule of Gonset converters into 6 and 12V vehicles of the past and
they all drifted, especially on 10-11M. The other stations and myself were
crystal controlled on AM.

Ive had a couple of Gonset converters into 6 and 12V AM radios of vehicles
of the past and they all drifted, especially on 10-11M. The other stations
and myself were crystal controlled on AM.

Sensitivity around Cycle 19 years was always enough to work the world mobile
on 10M with the ubiquitous 102" whip and especially when parked overlooking
the Atlantic Ocean out on LI, NY. Signals 10 miles inland, at home, were
about 20 dB weaker.
