You were certainly lucky on your BC-946. However, as I pointed out here a few posts ago, Fair Radio Sales still has brand-new 239 KHz BFOs for those receivers for $7.50. I was amazed when I learned this. This may help some of us save one or more of those BC band receivers that have been hacked. There sure are enough of those hacked ones out there. Ken W7EKB
