I used Gimp to open up the darker areas but the details
of the radio are covered by flare or perhaps retouching.
Nonetheless it does look like an SX-28 or SX-32. I am
curious because I am unaware that either came with
alternative bands to cover the MF aeronautical frequencies,
i.e., from 200 to 400 khz. Of course it could have been used
strictly for HF with some other receiver covering the
control tower frequencies. I am also not sure that aircraft
_transmitted_ on MF.
