The Handbook of Maintenance Instructions, AN 08-10-195, 15 April 1945
states:

Page 85:  "The signal voltage [modulated 30 percent at 400 or 1000 c.p.s.]
required to obtain an a-f output of 10 milliwatts should be 10 microvolts
or less."

Page 87:  Table 3 has other sensitivity vs. a-f output data.
