Here is a typical oscillator's datasheet:

It is programmable in 0.1 KC steps up to 125 MC.

True, and that may or may not be a problem depending on the
circuits following. If it is, a low-pass filter at a 5 volt signal level
should be easy. I'm going to get moving on this one, I think.
