[ARC5] 10-Meter 274N RX - The 20-27 RAT-1

The RAV manual you refer to may be a "Preliminary" manual.  These were the initial instruction books issued by the manufacturer to be used until the "official" NavAer or NavShips books appeared.  

Preliminary manuals often look to have been produced on a typewriter.  They do have diagrams, but seldom have photographs although line drawings of equipment may be included.

I have a couple or three "Preliminary" manuals including one for the Westinghouse TBW-4.
