[ARC5] More on the BC-1206

Jack, somewhere I have the T.O. that was used to remove the SCR-522 and BC-1206 and replace them with the ARC-3 and BC-453 in the late 1940's.  
For the Korean War F-51's they mounted the BC-453 way up on top of the ARC-3, up high in those bubble canopies, the most prominent radio installation I have ever seen.  The 453 was sitting higher than the pilot!  A book I have on Mustangs in Korea has a number of pictures showing that.  And for some reason they appear to have painted the ARC-3's black.

I'll look for that mod T.O. and send it to you if I find it.
