Boy! What a mess!

Tentatively, it looks as though the main tuning capacitor tunes from about 22 
pfd to 11 pfd, lock-to-lock.

It looks like the RF amp plate inductor needs at least 45 pfd in parallel with it 
in order to tune to around 29 MHz. Or the inductor needs to be reduced from 
9 turns of #36 wire to 7.

The mixer-grid circuit, which now tunes from 60 to 83 MHz, needs both 
added capacitance and added inductance to tune 28 to 30 MHz.

Balancing that out is requiring many iterations of calculations.
