With all the talk about the 10 Meter conversion, I decided to pull a
project out of the storage closet. A few years ago I found some ones
attempt to repackage a Q-5'er. Based on the Article in the Surplus
Conversion Handbook. The front panel was done pretty well, but the
electronics were a mess. So I am going to start disassembly and planning
on how to rework the mess. Most of the work will involve making a new
chassis, mounting the IF and RF assemblies, and making a proper power
supply.  But with some bad weather forcast for the north east, it's a
good time to spend some time in the Shack / Shop and have fun.
