The A.R.C. Type 11 and 12 sets, and possibly others, have beacon band and
broadcast band units with the A.R.C. designation R-11A and R-10A, respectively:
R-11A (.19 to .55 MHz) JAN nomenclature R-510/ARC (14-vdc), R-511/ARC (28-vdc)
R-10A (.52 to 1.5 MHz)
There are also A.R.C. VHF receivers in the Type 12 and Type 15 sets:
R-13 (108 to 135 MHz) JAN nomenclature R-445/ARN-30 (28-vdc)
R-15 (108 to 135 MHz) JAN nomenclature R-509/ARC (28-vdc)
R-19 (118 to 148 MHz) JAN nomenclature R-507/ARC (14-vdc), R-508/ARC (28-vdc)
The dynamotors for all of these is an enhanced DY-2A/ARR-2 called the DY-86/ARN-30,
which is rated for 85 mA HV output versus the 60 mA of the WWII-era version.
AFAIK, there was never a JAN nomenclature assigned to the A.R.C. R-10A.
The R-508/ARC was also used with the CV-431A/AR receiver converter and transmitter
as part of the UHF-AM AN/ARC-60.
The A.R.C. R-19 is a VHF communications receiver, while the A.R.C. R-11A (R-511/ARC)
is the beacon band receiver to which you most likely refer.
