[ARC5] Tubes needed for submarine Cobia

The 4PR60 is an unusual looking tube because it is on stilts. The base pins are very long so that
its plate connector will be the same height as the 715C, which it was intended to directly replace. I have one
or two in my collection but I have been trying to collect one of each of the old EIMAC glass triodes from the
15E to the 2000T. I think I have just about one or more of everything except the 1500T.
I would like to make an amplifier with the 2000T and also one with a pair of 750TL's or 'H tubes. If I can find
the time from other responsibilities and other back burner projects like my Restored (modified) VW beetle and by
two Berkeley sports cars. Too many plans too little time.

Yes Andy,
I know I have a few 4PR60's, brand new. One is right here in my office.

I probably have a 726B klystron as well, but that will take some sleuthing and time to search the boxes.

I'll get with my ham buddy John Lyles (K5PRO) whom is a boat anchor "activist" .... and see what he has.

OK!!
Bill

To All:

For continuing operations of the restored SJ-1 radar

equipment aboard the Wisconsin Maritime Museum

submarine USS COBIA could you all please see if

you have any NOS (or known good) tubes of the

following types:

726B Klystron (Rx local oscillator)

5HP1 CRT (A-scope display)

5D21 or 4PR60 (Tx pulse modulator)

The Museum has the following CRT's for trade:

1 - 5AP1

2 - 5BP1A

1 - 5CP1

Otherwise I would be glad to buy the tubes for donation to the Museum.

Thanks,

Tom Aschenbrenner
