I have an ARC R-30, purchased on ebay for less than the sales value of the tuning knob that came with it.

It is, of course, an ADF receiver, covering about 150KHZ to 1750 KHZ in n3 bands I think. It's not stand alone, being designed for the use with a control head and indicator. It's construction is similar to the Type 12, with high quality gold plated connections in ceramic connectors. It's got a box built into the front for antenna switching.

There is a website where someone describes setting up an R-30 in considerable detail, but that URL is on my work computer which is in a box in my airplane hanger.

In addition to filament voltages I think it uses about 175VDC for B+.

If I run across anything else I'll let you know.

Wayne
