I don't think so, Mike. I am reasonably sure Robert is referring to FT-243s so marked. I have
both FT-241s and FT-243s marked with channel numbers. In several cases, they are also
marked with BC-1335 on them.

Several collectors and re-enactors that I know about. If you go on youtube, you can find a
number of restored Sherman tanks being shown. Some have that 30 cylinder Chrysler multi-
bank engine, some have other engines.
Robert: there is a fellow in the Netherlands who is selling complete packages of those FT-
243s marked as you requested. I bought one of his packages several years ago. They come
in an olive drap painted cardboard box with thick paper dividers in it for 120 crystals with
channel numbers from 269 (as I remember it) to 389. There are a number of 40 meter
crystals in the package. The lid has metal-reinforced corners, and there is a label on one end
that says the following: 2X7C.1-2, CRYSTAL UNIT SET, 1 EA METHOD III, S-TESTED 1/55,
SAPL DTD 3 MAR 55, PKGD INSP 3/55, Then the Signal Corp stamp, and DECATUR
SIGNAL DEPOT DECATUR, ILL. The crystal frequencies are 25 KHz apart.
His prices have risen over the years, but they are still "reasonable". I'll try to find his eBay
seller-name for you.
I also have a number of loose FT-243s with channel numbers beginning at 270. I do not have
any FT-243s with numbers lower than that though, and certainly none in the 0 - 70 range.
What piece of gear did these go into, Robert?
