Hi Bob,

It should be okay. That stuff is pretty obnoxious and it can only be 
stored in plastic. It eats glass, metals, and obviously crystals 
(minerals). Flesh and bone, too. Even at 2 percent I wouldn't want it 
getting on anything of any value.

A peanut butter jar seems awfully large for the job.
