I would advise using think plastic sheet, like drafting mylar or the
plastic used in looseleaf sheet covers, if you can.
If you use vinly or telfon tape, they have a tendancy to cold-flow. Kapton
is fine, if you can get it.
Radio Shack sells small kits of heat-shrink tubing which might be an
option too.
