That's true.  In the terminology of the era, the 246 MHz ZB/YE homing system
was referred to as UHF, and even the 75 MHz marker beacon system was *originally*
termed UHF.  I'm glad the up-creep of the applicability of UHF ended when it
got to 300 MHz!

In modern discussions, I reluctantly normalize the terminology to modern usage,
even to the point of using MHz or kHz rather than the beloved MC or KC that
is actually inscribed on the dial. :-)
