The information at that link is only partially correct. I-96-A has nothing
to do with Receiver BC-684, which is a low-band VHF FM receiver tuning
27.0-38.9 MC.
I-96-A is part of IE-12-A, which is Instrument Equipment primarily for
Radio Sets SCR-522, 542 and 624. The bulk of I-96-A is a VHF AM signal
generator tuning 100-156 MC (plus a little).
