Could the mating connector on the rack be changed?
If so, are they available anywhere?
I have ARC-5 transmitters and FT-xxx mounts!

Hi Mac:
Try Fair Radio Sales for ARC-5 Tx male connectors. They are slightly larger diameter, I think. If Fair doesn't have 'em, it may be hopeless. The plugs will not be cheap. Econmically, it might be better to buy ARC-5 racks & resell the 274N racks.
The transmitter select wiring is different in the ARC-5 as opposed to the ATA or SCR-274N. One grounds the line and the other connects to +28VDC, if I remember correctly. There may be other wiring differences.
