As ya'll know, my understanding and opinions
on running Command Sets continues to evolve.
Running a Command Set transmitter into a 50-ohm
load doesn't work well unless one does some "conditioning."
The best way I've tried so far is a combination of
"Boatanchor Bob's" series capacitor and
Mike Hanz's UNUN.
For 75 / 80 meters, a 200 pFd 2500 VDC cap
in the lead to the antenna switch works.
For 40 meters, use 50 pFd. For 160 meters,
.001 (believe it or not) worked best.
There is room in the antenna switch to non-destructively
mount a 4:1 UNUN.
Here is the inside of a switch before:

Here is how to make a 4:1 UNUN:

Here's how to hook it up inside the switch:

With this, my 80-meter ATA with the ANT COUPLING
link set less than 5 delivers nearly 40 watts out on CW.
And you get to see the RF meter swing.
