Why must this argument keep raising the vitriolic bar.  Now it's VANDALISM rather than hacking.  This kind of rhetoric does not advance the argument or the discussion.  As had been noted by many moderate folks on the list, no ham or experimenter went out and ran over a command set with a truck nor did they paint the front of a BC375 with gang graffiti.

Don't know if I deserve to be in such good company ;-).

Decades of looking convince me that the second 
group's vandalism wasn't early or isolated- 
it was the general rule.
We'll just have to "agree to disagree."
