message was filtered out and some codes to tell me why. My message would
not simply fail to appear.

I have a better idea of what to avoid in my messages, although I have
not received any notices about being rejected. I don't have my messages
reflected back to me so I wouldn't know if any of them fail to appear
unless I look in the archive. This probably helped Dave, too, and more
than likely other list members.
