Indeed. Definitely a neat receiver from a period perspective, wouldn't
ind having one myself. But stuffing it into a later cabinet because
t fits and flowering it up with layers of bovine droppings won't
utomatically make it worth more. I'd be surprised if he could get
nything approaching a grand for it. $500-$800 might be more
ractical. Though you never know with collectors, where simply being
ble to say you 'have one' trumps utility, condition, and so on. Not a
ot of these out there, but certainly a lot more than he claims.
Of course, if you're a research team, you'd just need to have this
ated technology to make accurate readings, because only it can pick
p radio signals in that frequency range. Uh huh.
