I bought an anvil which was shipped by UPS. It disappeared and UPS 
never found it. My youngest girl, KB5KIZ, said a driver probably 
rolled it out the door in a ditch somewhere because he didn't want to 
deliver it?

But, the best tale involves a Swan transceiver I bought from a fellow 
in West Texas. It was COD and I put a money order in the drivers 
hand. Some months later I received a bill from a credit service which 
I ignored for many months. They sent me one of those final notice 
letters so I gathered up the bills and sent them to the CEO of UPS 
along with a letter asking if UPS was accusing me of stealing the box 
off the truck since the box came COD? I never received anything from 
UPS but the letters stopped.
