I have a pdf scan of the TO, giving step by step instructions for 
replacing the SCR-522, BC-1206 and AN/APS-13 with the AN/ARC-3 and
BC-453.  Dated September 1948.

The last page (August 1949)says that due to shortages in the AN/ARC-3, 
the installations are to be discontinued.
