Hi Ian - True enough....
And it's not quite fair to make these comparisons - but life "ain't fair"
LOL !

If I have to lug some gear up that mountain, I'll take a KenYaeIc ricebox
along.  But my GRC-109 will probably be operational 5 lifetimes from now.
I can also repair it or design and build work-arounds if it's ever
necessary too.  But in the meantime it's way more fun anyway....

But it really is Apples & Oranges...
