[ARC5] P-40 Found In Desert

"The radio and batteries were out of the plane and it looks like he tried
to get it working."

I find that somewhat strange. Aircraft radios don't just have two power
wires and an antenna. Unless the 'plane's harness was chopped up in the
crash, I'd have thought the chances of getting the radio working would be
much better in the plane.

It's a feat that I'd find taxing with just a knife and no other tools.

Maybe some nomads came by in the intervening years and removed, then
abandoned thye stuff?
