[ARC5] Loctal Tubes

My understanding is that Loctals were originally developed for mobile
use, to stay securely "locked" in their sockets. Later on they were
thought to be superior for RF use because the pins came straight out
through the glass on the bottom, i.e., shorter leads and no "lossy"
bakelite base. Don't believe the latter claim proved to be true in
practice. My direct experience with loctals has been with the BC-659
FM transceivers where I've found pin corrosion and socket connections
to be major problems.
