This is not a simple question. It depends on how the dynamotror is built.
I'll do the analysis, but first need to know:
Is the dynamotor Shunt or Compund wound? It makes a big difference.
In a Shunt wound the motor field coil is directly in parallel with the DC
supply.
(In a Series wound, the motor field is in series with the armature. I know
the dynos are not this type.)
In a Compound wound, there is a Series field and a Shunt field.
It has to be a Shunt or Compound machine.
