If this is the same receiver I had at one time, the following are the 
characterics:
Model 92
frequency range 20khz to 20mhz
Plug in coils
Tubes are American type but made in Japan.
The receiver consists of a TRF unit covering 20khz to about 2mhz.
It has a 77 detector with one or two 78s as RF stages. The audio output is a 
type 38

When tuning from about 2mhz to 20mhz, the TRF unit is used as the IF 
amplifier, with
a converter ahead of it. The converter uses a 6A7 plus one or two type 78 
tubes as RF
stages.

When changing bands, on the converter unit, the TRF unit is tuned to a 
different IF frequency
for each converter band.

The dials are a copy of the GENERAL RADIO co. dials.
It is a good set
