Subject: [ARC5] Basic Primer: "ARC-5" Transmitter Types

While many of us know this, there are members
who have asked about identifying the different
transmitters that have been lumped-together as "ARC-5."
I've written a basic "primer" for the transmitters:

http://home.netcom.com/~arc5/ARC5/ARC5TXtypes.htm

While there are many exceptions and "oddities,"
this covers the fundimentals for the purpose of
"eyeballing" the rigs.  I'll do one for the
receivers as soon as I can get the time.
In very short:  If it doesn't have a blue tag
on the top that says "ARC-5,"  it ain't an ARC-5.
