Several years ago, I was an online member of Rick Gillespie's TIGHAR group
that is devoted to establishing what happened to Amelia Earhart and her co-pilot
Fred Noonan in 1937.
After reading the vast amount of information on the TIGHAR site, I came up
with a good theory on the circumstances of the flight, and more especially, what
probably happened in its last couple of hours. These circumstances are the key
to understanding where the plane now lies.
Amelia Earhart's disappearance is way off topic for this group, but if anyone is
interested in hearing my theory, please email me off the group.
