I certainly do not.  It would be very hard to look at the
most common Reichsluftministerium command sets like the
MF/HF FuG 10 and VHF FuG 16/17 and see any type of common
ancestry with American equipment.  Certainly no such
association has been credibly reported, AFAIK.

In general, the electronic technology of the Reich was grossly 
out-classed by that of the UK and USA.  And between the UK and
the USA, the UK took no back seat either.  With respect
to just the current topic, the UK helped get the USA away from
attraction to its marginally effective MF/HF command sets to
VHF.
