Sufficient quoting for my purposes ...

Every year (or more often) this comes up and results in some form of debate.
WHO ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH CARES? If you don't like the units someone uses,
suck it up, Buttercup, and move on. Beat on a wall, a pillow, a punching
bag or a disliked neighbor. Pour yourself another drink. Do something but
deal with it elsewhere. This is one of the most meaningless discussions
ever, right up there with the purists' attitudes about conversions.

Don't like conversions? Read the above for how to deal with it. They exist
and getting all righteous and high mukamuka about them ain't gonna change a
thing. If you wanna get all persnickety about it, the use of 6AQ5s etc in
BC-A*-230s and -430s is technically a conversion yet no one says diddle
squat about it. Opinion is split on restuffing caps and a few other things
while something I particularly like, the DSB conversion (to be done only on
preconverted equipment anyway), is just plain "outlawed." Don't like it?
Please to note the mistletoe on my shirttail.

And people wonder why I don't participate on the lists ...
