I have often wondered if anyome was able to copy any WW II battlefield,
naval or air craft communications, ours or theirs?

I believe Vint hill Farms (near me in Virginia - now closed) was
established as a monitoring station when some amateur started picking up
German signals. For some reason, Vint Hill was at just the right point
to get skip from, I think, North Africa.
