Please: DON'T be tempted by the 50s ham lore to replace the antenna
terminal with an SO-239.

You can easily get the thing running with an approximately 50 pF air
variable and matched to a 50 Ohm load.

"TVI" is caused by a lack of proper operation, not defective WW II design.
